Of course people can make you happy amongst a plethora of other things life has to offer..my point being that at the end of the day, plenty of people to to bed unhappy no matter how much they have to be grateful for. Your happiness is your own responsibility because if you reply on something or someone outside of yourself to make you content, then the effects of that present emotion aren't as permanent. I was referencing an outlook, not expressing an implication that others don't matter.

My partner makes me happier as i ever could be alone and happier as friends or family could make me. Friends couldnt replace him at all, i just love beeing in a relationship. I love how he cares for me and i care for him, how close we are and just howmuch he helps me and loves me. But the confusion is usually done the other way around, people try to give partners the role of friends.
