The passage from Isiah is one on which the Hebrew God is tested. He lights wet wood on fire, when the other god couldn't even light dry wood. The passage from Luke is about Satan telling Jesus to jump off a cliff. Believe it, or don't believe it. But nitpicking the Bible/Koran/Talmud/etc. for slight inconsistencies with out of context passages is so cliché. It doesn't convince anyone, and it makes atheists look like smug assholes. It's as much mental masturbation as what Christians do when they post out-of-context verses on their Facebook walls.
